Multiple whistleblowers have even came forward to back the victims up. NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake in the video below does a good job at educating the sheeple on what's being done and how it all works. He states the George W. Bush administration specifically authorized the military to tear America apart with military surveillance, in violation of everyone's 4th amendment. Bush instructed his people to subvert the 4th amendment because Congress would not authorize the violations or changes in the 4th amendment necessary (these are the protections protecting you and me from government abuses/intrusion). It's obvious passing a bill to undo the 4th amendment and getting the states to agree would be tough, but that's no excuse. The 4th amendment protects Americans from being killed, raped, violated, monitored, searched, seized, and tortured by government. The government has been in object violation of the 4th amendment now for along time and the United States continues to operate under clandestine war mode powers. This indicates our government is targeting everyone in stealth as it pleases, and not mentioning it in records, police reports, or court proceedings. The interesting thing about surveillance is it's one part of our governments weapons system, "the eyes" and "ears" - they also have the ability to attack people with their warfare weaponry, which is fully integrated into the system. What Thomas Drake was always saying was recently backed up by news releases that Bush tried to have illegal and unconstitutional surveillance made "legal" just because he said so. 'Mr. Bush, for the first time, explicitly said that his authorizations were "displacing" specific federal statutes, including the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and criminal wiretapping laws... the president had "made an interpretation of law concerning his authorities" and that the Justice Department could not act in contradiction of Mr. Bush's determinations.
